Your EUR → USD guide
An international invoice deserves a full quote.
When paying a dollar invoice from a euro account, compare the euro cost of delivering the required USD amount. A rate displayed on a currency chart is not necessarily the rate offered for a transfer. Make sure the quote includes your chosen payment method and review the full amount debited before comparing another provider.
Select your actual sending country when visiting each provider. EUR describes the funding currency, not a single country or set of provider terms. Ask your US recipient for the correct payment instructions and check whether any receiving charge could reduce the amount credited.
What affects the total cost?
The exchange rate and the transfer fee work together. For the same total EUR spend, look at the final USD receipt rather than comparing the fee alone. Check whether funding by your chosen method changes the cost, and whether any bank or recipient charge is outside the quote.
Compare quotes close together in time. If you return later, refresh the figures before acting. A promotional quote may have conditions, including eligibility or an amount limit; read those conditions before building it into your budget.
